I have recently been commissioned to get lots of key landmark images from around the country, I know a little different from what i have been doing recently with Fashion and Music sometimes the two combined.
I have only been to a few locations at the moment due to poor weather conditions and thankfully there isn;t a pressing deadline on this job… (theres a first for everything)
There is one building however I have always really loved in Birmingham and that is The Mailbox… apart from it’s cool name it really is a stunning building as far as buildings are concerned. The Mailbox also has a vast amount of eateries situated at the back on the canal.
The region’s biggest fashion, beauty and shopping event, Style Birmingham Live AW13, returned on Saturday 28 September for the sixth year with hosts Emma Willis, Rylan Clark, celebrity stylist Brix Smith-Start and special catwalk guest & Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model Winner Lauren Lambert.
More than 3,000 ticket holders visited the Town Hall to see the award winning catwalk show featuring the latest Autumn Winter collections from across the city’s stores and centres, which this year included an incredible snow filled finale scene!
Catwalk visitors were also treated to a printed Lookbook containing detailed images of the 125 looks featured in the nine stunning scenes within the show and where to buy them in Birmingham city centre
Yet another amazing pop festival, this one was staged in Birmingham city centre. The two day event was headlined by Jessie J and the american heart throb NE-YO.
I was contracted by event organisers to capture the entire event and boy was it a busy one.
Here are just a few images from an amazing weekend.
A small set from my behind the scene shoot for Classic FM on their new state of the art studios inside their media HQ hub in Leicester Square, London. The station which is owned and operated by Global Radio have revamp all of their studios to these new state of the art all singing all dancing studios’
It’s always a good feeling when a big corporate company especially one local to you calls upon you for a specific shoot. Now admittedly I’m no football fan but after this shoot I think I have been turned.
I was asked to create new images for their next season corporate marketing material. So along with me were two fantastic models who make the shots really. We were tasked with getting those corporate style shots in private boxes, the vip hospitality suites and restaurants. What I didn’t expect is we would be doing this whilst the match itself was on and a full house of people ohh and another thing I didn’t realise it was the biggest match of the season.
Oh and did I mention they WON 6-1… I am clearly very lucky.
Here are just a few images from a massive batch.
I also took several panoramic shots of the grounds and one of their hospitality suites. please click on the links below to view them
A few months back I was commissioned on a series of images for the Ed James Group. The variety of shots needed were studio, stock and lifestyle.
Together we created a nice variety and whats more we used the local surroundings to create them. I am always a big fan of stepping out of the studio to create images with great backgrounds already.
