I have recently been commissioned to get lots of key landmark images from around the country, I know a little different from what i have been doing recently with Fashion and Music sometimes the two combined.

I have only been to a few locations at the moment due to poor weather conditions and thankfully there isn;t a pressing deadline on this job… (theres a first for everything)

There is one building however I have always really loved in Birmingham and that is The Mailbox… apart from it’s cool name it really is a stunning building as far as buildings are concerned. The Mailbox also has a vast amount of eateries situated at the back on the canal.

Check out these two images I took the other day front and back.

Yet another amazing pop festival, this one was staged in Birmingham city centre. The two day event was headlined by Jessie J and the american heart throb NE-YO.

I was contracted by event organisers to capture the entire event and boy was it a busy one.

Here are just a few images from an amazing weekend.

It has to be said I was a bit worried about doing a live gig for a Jazz musician, not because I don;t like jazz because I do. My main worry was I have never see this guy perform before and thought it wasn’t going to be exciting to photograph… BOY WAS I WRONG!!!

This guy knows how to entertain a crowd, seriously! I have never seen a pop/jazz artist jump into the crowd stand on his piano and shout let me here you scream… it was like working on a rock set.

My favourite bit of this gig was it was intimate, only 100 people in the house.

It’s aways great being asked to work on a charity football match for lots of reason… most of all the look on the charities face when they see how much support they are getting!

I have been lucky enough to do quite a few of these but this one was great to work on.

The charity Help Harry Help Others, a great charity, if you haven’t heard of it before make sure you check out the link and the inspirational story of Harry who sadly passed but one thing is for sure his legacy lives on.

Louis Smith,  Denise Van Outen, Dani Harmer, Lisa Riley and Fern Britton in the line up for Strictly Come Dancing in Birmingham.

Dust off those sequins, get out the fake tan and hang up the glitter ball – Strictly Come Dancing is back in Brum!

The TV show’s live tour kicks off at Birmingham’s NIA on Friday night giving fans chance to see the celebrities and their professional partners strutting their stuff.

Reigning champion, Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, will be there, along with one of the runners-up, TV presenter Denise Van Outen.

Actress Lisa Riley will be performing, as will TV presenter Fern Britton, cricketers Phil Tufnell and Michael Vaughan, and actress Dani Harmer.

Louis, who is partnered with Ola Jordan because TV partner Flavia Caccacia is performing in her own show with Vincent Simone, said he was hoping to repeat his success and be voted the winner every night.

He also told the Mail how he was now best known for Strictly – and not his Olympic bronze medal.

“When people come up to me now it’s all Strictly Strictly Strictly, that’s all they want to talk about,” he said.

“But I don’t mind because, if I’m honest, I found the training much harder for Strictly than for the Olympics.”

But Louis pledged that when the tour finishes on February 10 he will resume his gymnastics training, but admitted that at this stage, he was unsure if he would compete in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Billed as the “ultimate live chart show”, the sell-out Free Radio Live 2012 was one of the top shows of the year as the galaxy of stars performed some of their biggest hits to a packed audience of around 15,000 adoring fans.

THOUSANDS of fans went wild for some of the UK’s top teen acts at the city’s LG Arena.

Billed as the “ultimate live chart show”, the sell-out Free Radio Live 2012 was one of the top shows of the year as the galaxy of stars performed some of their biggest hits to a packed audience of around 15,000 adoring fans.

JLS topped the decibel charts with fans screaming their approval at every move and singing along to every hit, including newest big seller Hottest Girl In the World. The fab four of Marvin, Oritse, JB and Ashley proved they are the nation’s favourite boyband with a performance that raised the roof.

Recent chart-topper Labrinth also went down a storm with his number one smash Beneath Your Beautiful.

Last year’s X Factor winners Little Mix, who performed Number One smashes Cannonball and Wings, said they couldn’t believe the crowd reaction. The band said after the show: “It was incredible. We were so excited to perform in Birmingham.”

The show was opened by McFly who proved they were the ultimate professionals with a slick set of songs from their soon to be released “Best Of” album.

Scouting For Girls and Lawson, who claimed it was “the best gig ever”, completed the boybands, while Leona Lewis, Amelia Lily and Stooshe did their bit for girl power.

Leona underlined why she is rated as one of the top female vocalists from both sides of the Atlantic with immaculate vocals.
